After the dismal performance at the just concluded U-20 world youth championship hosted by the Turks and won by the French, Coach John Obuh tendered his resignation letter which the Nigerian Football Federation gladly accepted.. Reports reaching us at Sportunes says that former flying eagles handler Samson Siasia is to collect the baton from Obuh.
Siasia alongside ex-eagles defender Ben Iroha and former 3SC manager Fatai Amoo are all going to work hand in hand in bringing glory back to the baby Eagles. We don't know the details yet, but Nigerians,do we want Siasia again even after he made us miss the 2012 Nations cup? or do we dwell on the brighter side where the Bayelsa man got the Flying Eagles and the Olympic football team to the finals of the 2005 world youth championships and the 2008 Beijing Olympics respectively?
