Crystal Palace have confirmed the appointment of Tony Pulis as their new manager.
The 55-year-old Welshman, who has been out of work since leaving Stoke at the end of last season, succeeds Ian Holloway on a two-and-a-half-year contract.
Pulis established the Potters in the top flight during his seven-year spell at the Britannia Stadium, and moved to the top of Palace co-chairman Steve Parish's shortlist after Holloway left Selhurst Park by mutual consent on October 23.
The Eagles have for the past month been under the guidance of caretaker boss Keith Millen.
The London side are bottom of the Premier League, with four points from 11 games.
