In Africa We Trust! Ghana And Cameroon Get Tough Groups, As Nigeria, Ivory Coast Hit Jackpot

The draws of the Brazil 2014 FIFA Worldcup have been made, all 32 countries that will be participating have now known their fate. When the pots came out on Tuesday, we Nigerians were weary of a potential group of Death... But as fate would have it, that 'curse' has been placed on Ghana as the Black stars must go through Germany, Portugal and USA if they want progress to the second round of the greatest football tournament in the world.

Nigeria however, have been blessed with contrasting fortunes as they face Argentina, Bosnia - Herzegovina and Iran in what most pundits have described as one of the easiest groups.. Ivory coast will have a say in that argument though, The Elephants were blessed with Colombia, Greece and Japan.. Really it doesn't come easier than that!

Cameroon on their own will need divine intervention if they are to progress in their seventh worldcup appearance. The Indomitable Lions have been paired with hosts Brazil, 1998 bronze medalist - Croatia and dark horses Mexico... Algeria who are the only north African team in the party find themselves in a very tricky group. The Fennec foxes have to deal with Belgium, Russia and South Korea, if they want to to make the knockout of the competition.
