Basketball - Warriors edge Spurs in overtime

Warriors 97, Spurs 87 (overtime)

Harrison Barnes collected a career-high 26 points to go along with 10 rebounds and Stephen Curry overcame an ankle injury to score 22 as host Golden State came through late and evened the Western Conference semi-finals at 2-2.

Jarrett Jack added 24 points and Andrew Bogut grabbed 18 rebounds for the Warriors, who outscored San Antonio 13-3 in overtime.
Manu Ginobili hit five three-pointers en route to 21 points and Tim Duncan collected 19 points and 15 rebounds for the Spurs.

The series shifts back to San Antonio for Game Five on Tuesday.

The Spurs missed their first seven shots and two free throws in overtime and the Warriors took a 93-84 lead when Curry completed a three-point play with 1:46 left. Danny Green finally ended the drought with a three-pointer but Carl Landry responded with a jumper and Jack hit two free throws to close it out.

San Antonio scored the first six points of the fourth quarter to open an 68-60 lead and held Golden State off until Jack knocked down a jumper over Duncan to knot it at 82 with 58 seconds left.

Tony Parker responded immediately with a jumper to put the Spurs back on top, but Klay Thompson countered and neither team could score in the final 30 seconds as it went to overtime.

Ginobili had struggled from the floor in the first three games but went 4-for-6 from beyond the arc in the first half to carry San Antonio.

The Warriors started a bigger frontline with Landry and Bogut, but both picked up three early fouls and were limited to six minutes apiece in the first half as the Spurs controlled the pace and took a 45-37 lead into the break.

Curry was held to six points in the first half but got free for a pair of three-pointers and eight points during an 18-6 run that started the third quarter and gave Golden State the lead.

Bogut's three-point play with 1:44 left in the third kept the Warriors on top before San Antonio scored the final four points of the period to take a 62-60 lead into the final period.
