EVERTON PLAYERS BOUNCED FROM UNITED'S TITLE BASH

A trio of Everton players were left red-faced after accidentally turning up at Manchester United’s Premier League title celebrations… instead of Phil Neville’s leaving bash.

Merseyside stars Marouane Fellaini, Kevin Mirallas and Sylvain Distin made the short journey across to Manchester, only to arrive at Spinningfields restaurant Neighbourhood, where United’s title-winners were celebrating the club’s 20th league crown.

Former Red Devil Neville was throwing a party to mark his imminent departure from Everton after eight years at the club. Neville’s bash was held at Neighbourhood’s sister restaurant, Southern Eleven, located just around the corner, and the confused Toffees stars headed for the wrong venue.

Being alerted of their error, the Everton stars made the short walk to Neville’s party, according to the Manchester Evening News.

As the United players honoured Sir Alex Ferguson’s departure after 27 years at Old Trafford, the Everton players were also saying farewell to David Moyes, who has been at Goodison Park for over a decade.

Moyes will replace Ferguson at United at the end of the season after 11 years at Everton.
Back at Neighbourhood, the Everton stars missed out on United’s late-night celebration. No wonder they were confused.
