The Barclays Premier League champions have a £357m deal in place with the American car giants and will wear the Chevrolet name on their shirts from the start of the 2014-15 season.

Now the club have taken the unusual step of insisting first team players leave their own cars at home every day and drive their Chevrolets – if they choose to have one – in to the Carrington training centre when they come to work.

The club’s arrangement with their players will therefore guarantee maximum exposure for their sponsors and perhaps explains why so many United stars were pictured in their official club wheels last season.
