WozziRoy interchanging sports.

The two sporting giants  have been dating since 2011 and have been spotted together all over the world the last two years. Their relationship once seemed destined for a walk down the aisle, but recent reports indicate they may actually be heading for a split.

It's probably for the best. I am not rooting against sporting love or anything infact i doffed my hat to these love birds in my early days of blogging (HERE), It's just that this relationship is killing both of their careers and killing sports.

Why?

Caroline Wozniacki - Wimbledon Tennis Championships: Day 3
Sister Caro just wants to be with her boo
Wozniacki has had a nightmare couple of years since she met Rory, She won three tournaments in the five months before she started dating the Irish man. She has only won three since then.

This year has been littered with 1st and 2nd round losses and a couple of quarter finals and semi finals appearances, In fact all through the year, she has gotten past the semi finals just once and that was in Indian wells where she received a walkover in the semis after Azarenka suffered an injury.. Guess what followed? she was battered in the final by Sharapova.

To play devil’s advocate, there are a bunch of logical reasons why Wozniacki has struggled lately. She’s only 23. She fired her coach in late 2012 and re-hired her father. And despite the fact that she was considered one of the best in the world in 2011, she never won a major, and much of the hype around her was based on potential, not results.

ON TO RORY…

The 142nd Open Championship
Mcilroy  has been chasing shadows all through the year
After a 18-month-long honeymoon phase in the immediate aftermath of Rory and Caroline getting together in July 2011, Rory started to fall apart.

A year ago, Rory McIlroy was doing to Golf what lionel Messi is doing to football, But this year he is anything but special as he has been slumping most of the year.

He's still ranked as the No. 2 golfer in the world, but his game is in brutal shape as his two-round stay at the British Open indicated. At the start of the week, McIlroy said the slump was "no big deal". On Thursday, he admitted he felt "unconscious" on the golf course and had made "brain dead" decisions.

On Friday, he spoke with more perspective and even hinted at light at the end of the tunnel. But his first missed cut at the Open was the latest in a catalog of disappointments and false dawns.

The Irish man is so bad, that he was even asking Barack Obama for Golf advice after the US open.

McIlroy does not have any known physical problems. He is 24 years old and he should be approaching his peak years as a golfer. But The Irish man can also point to one or two “legitimate” reasons why he is playing bad. He has a few documented technical issues with his swing. He’s also insanely young and is experiencing a natural slump that all golfers suffer through a few times in their careers.

But that being said, Statistics don't lie and its unofficially official, McIlroy and Wozniacki are destroying each other’s careers.
