Arsenal: With so much flurry of links to top marquee players (in Gonzalo Higuain,Ashley Williams,Luis Saurez,Bernard,Julio Ceaser) and the "signing" of these players on both the front& back pages of Newspapers, Arsenal would finally be doing a deal sometimes this week.

Our sources tell us the Arsene Wenger who the Arsenal fans refer to has the "Ijebu Man" or "The Stingy One" is wrapping up a deal for a top player to improve his squad for the coming season especially at the back 4 due to injuries aggravated by 2 of his defensive stalwarts in Captain Thomas Vermaelen and Laurent Koscielny. Although in the case of Gonzalo Higuain, its still a "waiting game" by Real Madrid as the new Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has expressed his desire to extend the Argentine's stay at the Bernabeu beyond this summer.

Roberto Soldado: Valencia Hit man Soldado is being chased by both North London club Totenham and Premier League side Liverpool. According to Daily Mirror, Soldado has a Price Tag of £18m which the Valencia board have told any interested club needs to pay on or before Aug. 3rd, else the La Fora Roja player would be extending his stay in the Mestalla.

Targeted: Nikica Jelavic could be on his way to Hamburg

Nikica Jelavic: Hamburg SV have spoken with Nikila Jelavic's agent that they would offer first team football for the Everton forward if he consider's moving to the German club. Jelavic's chances at the Merseyside club could be limited in the coming season due to the addition of Ivorian striker Arouna Kone and young Spanish sensation Deulofeu whom Roberto Martinez described as the "Real Diamond" to the team.

Heading for Newcastle? Bafetimbi Gomis is in talks over a move to St James' Park

Newcastle Utd: Alan Pardew won't back down in his continuous purchase of French players has he's set his sights on signing Lyon Fc of France forward Bafetimbi Gomis. The French man who has scored over 120 goals for both St. Etiene and Olympique Lyon has indicated he wants a move outside the French league. An agreement hasn't been reached yet but its expected a deal could be done this week,which would also be Joe Kinnear's first signing as sporting director of the Club.

Another player being courted by the Magpies is striker Daren Bent from Aston Villa. The English man is valued at £6m by Villa, If Newcastle can meet the price then Bent is theirs.

Out-of-favour: Gomes was given few first-team opportunities at Tottenham

Heurelho Gomes: Former Tottenham & Free Agent Goalie Gomes is expected to move to Dutch club PSV Eindohven. The Brazilian who once kept for PSV is in talks with the Dutch club. As a free agent, he's rearing for a move back to the club he made a name with in order to get his career back on track.

United front? Fabregas is a target for new United boss David Moyes
Cesc Fabregas: Manchester United have just made a second bid for the former Arsenal captain,this was confirmed a few hours ago by new manager David Moyes in his press conference in Japan.  Cesc who has reiterated his desire to stay in Barcelona,  has a buy back clause to move to former club Arsenal. Sportunes see this deal going back and forth during the course of this week.

Something on your mind? Wayne Rooney arrives at Manchester United's training ground on Wednesday

Wayne Rooney: Chelsea are still in the chase of  Man Utd forward Wayne Rooney. Although the red half of Manchester have been playing a "hard ball" with the Blues, Jose Mouhrinho won't give up on his chase for the English forward. A sum of about £40m with add on's rising to £50m is expected to be made by Roman Abrahamovic for the 27 year old.

The former Everton man is reportedly looking for a club where he wont play  second fiddle as he has been in Manchester since the arrival of Robin Van Persie last season. 

But would United eventually give in to Rooney's bad boy attitude of wanting first team football?
