TRANSFER WRAP: Nacer Chadli, Gonzalo Higuain, Pepe Reina, Vagner Love, Javier Saviola, Djemba Djemba, Gary Hooper, Kevin Gameiro...

The Battle is still on!!! A number of transfer deals have been wrapped up,signed,sealed,some still "hanging in the airplane" others in the medical room; but most "delivered" to the delight of their fans. Sportunes brings to you a no. of the major transfers which took place this week in this wrap;

ERIC DJEMBA DJEMBA ( Hapoel Tel Aviv - Partizan BELGRADE)

Eric Djemba-Djemba never made the cut at Manchester United

Djemba Djemba completed a move to Serbian champions Partizan Belgrade this week, signing a two year deal. Eric who is a former Man Utd flop, moved from Hapoel Tel Aviv to Partizan. The Question is... does this "Chairman" still have what it takes to play football at the highest level? The 'Serbian League' would give the answer.

NACER CHADLI (FC TWENTE TO TOTTENHAM HOTSPURS)

History: Chadli scored against Spurs for Twente three years ago

Belgian Winger Chadli officially became Totenham's second signing of the season after completing a £7m move from the Dutch Eredevise to the Premier League. Well, with the number of Belgian imports that have kept us at the edge of our seats in the EPL,we at Sportunes are in expectant of another talent in waiting to dazzle us all.

VAGNER LOVE(CSKA MOSCOW TO SHANDONG LUNUENG)

Vagner Love

Cska Moscow during the week let go of another of its troublesome long term stalwarts in Brazilian Vagner Love for a reported amount of £10.3m from Chinese Club Shandong Lunueng. Vagner Love had been known for being on bad terms with the clubs hierarchy after preventing a move to the Premier League in 2009, since then its been  "NO LOVE LOST" between Mr. Love and Defending Russian League Champions CSKA. Now that he has officially gone,we wish our samba friend a good journey to the land of the "Chinko's" and hope you find new "LOVE IN BEIJING"

JAVIER SAVIOLA (BENFICA TO OLYMPIAKOS)

Javier Saviola

Argentine Journeyman Saviola, finally cemented a permanent move away from the Land of Iberia(Portugal) after sealing a 2-year deal with Greek giants Olympiakos. Although spending a season long loan with Champions League Quarter-Finalists Malaga CF last season, the Andalusian club broke up with him and his parent club Benfica ensured the 31 year old was going to sign for a 9th different club of his career. Since leaving Spanish giants Barcelona & Real Madrid, Football stardom has been "topsy-turvy" with him...We hope the 'Greek gods' are able to revive his career.

GONZALO HIGUAIN (REAL MADRID TO SS NAPOLI)

New man: Gonzalo Higuain arrives to a frenzied reception from Napoli fans after his move from Real Madrid

With all the links, ducted outfits, picture mixes, speculation, transfer updates...Finally,Higuain joins...SS Napoli not Arsenal Fc friends. Napoli President splashed the good earned cash for "Arsenal's target" Higuain which cost a fee of £31.5m,with wages of €150k per week on a 5 year contract. What a good miss of buy Mr. Wenger "The Stingy One"...Strike the Iron, when its Hot!!!

PEPE REINA  (LIVERPOOL TO SS NAPOLI)

Darren Bent scores for Sunderland - via a balloon deflection

Liverpool "balloon" keeping goalie Pepe Reina;...well "balloon" keeping because Sunderland FC fans would thank him three seasons ago for his goalkeeping blunder when he saved a red balloon instead of a goal bound Darren Bent shot which resulted to the only goal of that game; The Spanish goalie has moved to join former manager and compatriot Rafael Benitez in Italian club Lazio on a season long loan. This as a result of facing competition from new signing Simon Mignolet and also "balancing the books" as stipulated by present KOP boss Brendan Rogers.

GARY HOOPER (CELTIC FC TO NORWICH CITY)

I'm off: Striker Gary Hooper looks set to leave Celtic and join QPR for a fee of around £5m

Gary Hooper sealed his long awaited dream of playing in the Premier League after signing for EPL club Norwich City Fc. This deal was actually a good steal for the Canaries because 48 hours to Hooper's proposed move to championship club QPR, Norwich City came on-board and tabled about the same amount QPR were bidding which left the 25 year old with no choice than to sign a 3 year contract with the club that plays in arguably the best league in the world.

KEVIN GAMEIRO (PSG TO SEVILLA)

Hotshot: Kevin Gameiro (left) has attracted Arsenal

PSG striker reject Kevin Gameiro finally waved good bye to the Parisien club due to the influx of "money money money" (READ). Although this move has brought light to the dark bench warming tunnel of kevin's career, there was an exchange of words between the Sevilla Board and PSG Board over the £7.5m payment of the transfer. It turned out that after a "legal scam" made by Sevilla CF to Man City of England for the transfer of Alfred Negredo of £17.5m rising to £21.5m(after add on's) Sevilla wanted to pay instalmentally for the next three seasons, which the PSG board blatantly refused and insisted on a full 'cash and carry' deal.

But after collecting such an amount from Man City, is chairman Del Nido of Sevilla thinking of threading the path of "The Stingy One" Wenger especially with the Arabs? Hmmn!

Other Transfers that went on during the week:

Yanick Sagbo(Evian To Hull City[£1.5m])
Nelson Oliviera(Benfica CF to Rennes FC[1 year loan])
Julio Carlos Garcia(Olimpia in Honduras To Wigan Athletic[free transfer])
