Blessing Okagbare breaks 14 year jinx as she wins Team Nigeria's first Championship medal since 1999

Atlast the moment we all have been waiting for, the appointed time is now and the chosen one is Blessing Okagbare. The 24 year old has delivered Nigeria's first medal at the world championships since Seville in 1999. She leaped to a distance of 6.99m as she claimed silver medal just behind America's Britney Reese who had a distance of 7.01m
