Blessing Okagbare coasts to the 200m semi finals

After finishing a distant 6th in the 100m final, Blessing Okagbare has quickly put the disappointment behind her as she cruised to her 200m heat win. The 24 year old came first in a highly competitive race in a time 22.79s, she's through to the semi finals which will take place later today. After delivering Nigeria's first championship medal in 14 years, Blessing remains on course to win Nigeria's first ever Gold medal in the history of the 'Athletics world cup'.
