Jose Mourinho has taken another swipe at his compatriot Cristiano Ronaldo, claiming he isn't the 'real Ronaldo'. The flamboyant coach had clashed repeatedly with the player last season and recently stated Ronaldo' thinks he knows everything'. Everly controversial, the ' loved one' or whatever he is called now has claimed he has more respect for the Brazilian Ronaldo than the Portuguese. Speaking to ESPN, he said; I was an assitant at big clubs and with big managers and coaching the best players in the world, so I was 30 and I was coaching Ronaldo, not this one (Cristiano), the real one,the Brazilian Ronaldo.
What the current Chelsea manger is doing is quite baffling and really not needed. What does he mean by' real'? He practically used to say Cristiano was the best player he ever coached so why the sudden change of heart? Well he used to say Frank Lampard was the best midfielder during his last stint so that's saying something!!! Vintage Mourinho;Petty and Unforgiving!!! Another ploy to generate media attention I reckon. One thing is clear he is burning bridges with Cristiano and Chelsea fans shouldn't expect him to don the blue jersey while Mourinho is in charge. Chelsea open their Premier League campaign against promoted Hull City at Stamford Bridge.
