The 14th edition of the IAAF world championships Moscow 2013 has been brought to a wrap and the curtain was pulled in spectacular fashion as Jamaica's duo of Shelly Ann Frasier and Usain Bolt won their 3rd gold medal as they powered their Relay team to the pole position.

Shelly Ann Frasier won her third gold medal of the championships when Jamaica won the women's 4x100m relay in a championship record. The 26 year old ran an amazing race in the last leg to win her 6th gold medal in the history of the championship.

DAY 8 (17/08/2013): Usain BOLT, 200 Metres, Men Final (EOS-1D X + EF200-400mm F4L IS USM Extender 1.4x, F4.0, 1/800sec., ISO3200) (Jun Tsukida)

Usain Bolt also won his third gold medal of the week to bring a close to the world championships. Just like Shelly Ann , Bolt was the anchor man for the Caribbean team and when Ashmeade passed the baton to Bolt, there was only 1 outcome as the 27 year old cruised to his 8th gold medal in the Championships history. He's now the joint leader on the all time list of medalists alongside Carl Lewis with 10 medals.
