Chris Powell is 44 today. He is an English football manager and retired player, who had a long career as a left back, crowned by five caps for the English national team. He is currently manager of Charlton Athletic, where he had three successful spells as a player over eight seasons.
He served as chairman of the Professional Footballers' Association from November 2005 until he retired. He finished his playing career at Leicester City where he then became a first team coach. In October 2009 he was named as one of 50 ambassadors for England's 2018 World Cup bid.
Morten Gamst Pedersen
Morten Gamst Pedersen is 32 today. He is a Norwegian footballer who plays for Karabükspor in the Turkish Süper Lig. He played for English side Blackburn Rovers between 2004 and 2013. Since he made his international debut in 2004, Gamst Pedersen has been capped 74, and scored 16 goals while playing for Norway. He later became one of the first names on the team sheet for Norway until August 2012, when he was left out of the national team squad.
João Moutinho
João Moutinho is 27 today. He is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays for AS Monaco FC in Ligue 1 and the Portuguese national team. Mainly a central midfielder he can also operate as a defensive or attacking midfielder, and on either flank. He started his professional career with Sporting, moving in 2010 to Porto and winning 12 major titles between the two clubs combined.
A Portuguese international since 2005, Moutinho represented the nation in two European Championships.
