Lionel Messi's Proposed House

Reports in Argentina, translated by Dirty Tackle, suggest that Lionel Messi is about to have a new house in Barcelona with a football theme.
Messi already lives in a 1,300 sq. ft. building in Catalonia, but the Barcelona forward, feted as the world's best player, is apparently planning an upgrade.

Spanish architect Luis de Garrido has been enlisted to build the house from scratch, and in the Argentine report he says he wants to build something that reflects the 26-year-old's "personality." The picture above shows some of the intricacies of the design.

The house itself would resemble a football from above, and the complex is landscaped so that it looks like a pitch.

Whether it is built one day or not remains to be seen, but clearly the plans are well-advanced.
