Roddick and Djokovic met at the 2008 US Open for a spot in the semi-finals, but before the match it was the chattering between the two players that had a lot of fans circling this match as a must-watch.
Roddick, now an analyst on Fox Sports Live, took part in a conversation about confrontations in sports and brought up that 2008 US Open quarter-final match. Before the match it was Roddick who took to the media to talk about all the injuries Djokovic had brought up, mentioning he thought a lot of the things the Serbian was complaining about were fake injuries.
After Djokovic won that match 6-2, 6-3, 3-6, 7-6 (5) he spoke to the crowd at the US Open and brought up the remarks from Roddick, and that didn't go over well with the fans of New York.
Roddick said when the two got in the locker room it was on, but after taking a look at Djokovic's trainer, he thought better of it.
"I was talking trash, and he came out and beat the pants off me [in the match], as he would, but then kind of chirped afterward," Roddick said.
"So he comes straight [into the locker room], I went right up to him, had him up against the locker. But then I realised his trainer was a little bit bigger than Donovan (McNabb - an NFL star who was also on the panel) and I kind of checked myself."

Of course, any time anything like this comes out people immediately think there is some beef between the two people involved, but Roddick was quick to take to Twitter and let the world know that there is no animosity between Roddick and Djokovic, just two competitive guys that let their emotions get the best of them.
