The Football world was rocked today when we found out the shocking news that Germany's Sammy Khedira will be out of the game for up to six months after tearing cruciate ligament during yesterday's friendly draw in Italy.
Following a collision with Andrea Pirlo, the Real Madrid star was taking to a local hospital in Milan where after much scans, the doctors finally revealed he was going to face a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Supports have since be rolling in for the injured German, the latest being from his Real Madrid team mate and friend - Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese superstar posted a photo of the both of them on his instagram page where he had words of encouragement for his friend : 'Khedira, I wish you all the best for your revovery. You're a fighter and we wait for your fast return. The World Cup is waiting for you.'
