Sebastian Vettel signed off his 2013 championship season in style by storming to victory at the Brazilian Grand Prix, equalling Michael Schumacher’s record of 13 wins in a single Formula 1 season.
Vettel lost the lead to Nico Rosberg at the start but quickly got through on his compatriot and was never troubled as forecast rain failed to materialise.
Vettel’s only danger came when Red Bull did not have his tyres ready at his second stop, slashing his lead from 12 to five seconds.
Mark Webber finished in second place in his final race in Formula 1, with Fernando Alonso in third.
