Manchester United star Wayne Rooney posted his first photo on instagram two weeks ago and he promised to share many more with us as time goes by. The striker has however drawn us twenty years back as he quizzed us about his very beginning. 


'Throwback Thursday - Here I am aged 8 playing for my first ever team Copplehouse Boys. Can you spot me?,' said Rooney who is quite clearly second from left on the back-row of the team photo.

Carla Sofia is living with a serious birth defect, despite her predicament, the little girl enjoys playing tennis and she is a diehard Novak Djokovic fan. Lady luck smiled on her this week when she met her Hero in Miami.



The world number 2 who is in the quarter finals of the Miami masters took to instagram to pay an emotional tribute to Carla; "This little girl's name is Carla Sofia and she is a true HERO. She has Spina Bifida but that doesn't stop her from playing tennis and I was honored to learn that she is one of my biggest fans :) Today we got to play tennis together and Carla confirmed to me something I always tell myself during tough moments... Never Give Up!!"
