WEEKEND OF CHAMPIONS

The stage is set for one of the most dramatic 48 hours of the season, with a number of intriguing storylines poised to reach a conclusion. Nerves will be frayed as those clubs embroiled in their respective championship race fight for their objectives.

1) SOMETHING TO CHEER ABOUT FOR BARCELONA

Real Madrid entertain Valladolid on Saturday  anything short of a win will give Barcelona the opportunity to win their first league title sine 2011(seems like eternity judging by their standards).

              

All the Blaugrana have to do is to beat Real Betis on Sunday and hope result goes their way at the Bernabeu. 

Most football critics have recently thrown stones at the Catalan club, there is no better way to respond than building a Castle with the stones as they claim their 22nd league title.

2) FORZA BIACONERRI

               

Juventus have one hand hand on the trophy they claimed in style last season, but in other to be able lay both hands on the cup they must hustle a point against relegation threatened Palermo on sunday.

4) AJAX DUTCH DELIGHT

                  

Its an action packed Sunday in the Dutch Eredivisie as all 18 clubs will be playing simultaneously. Ajax will win their 32nd league title if they beat relegated Williem II. 

The Dutch Giants are on their way to an hat trick of league titles (winning back to back to back). The third time they will achieve the feat.

5) CHAMPIONS LEAGUE DRESS REHEARSAL

Bayern Munich have their 23rd league title in the bag already, they have also amassed the record highest number of points in a Bundesliga season. With Borussia Dortmund guaranteed a Champion league spot already, there is no incentive left than the two Champions league finalists serving football fans all over the world an appetizer before the real meal is served in Wembley come may the 25th.

Munich have only lost once in the league all season and conceded a miserly 14 goals but Dortmund have tormented them in recent years. No quarter will be given, even if the big date is looming large.
