Hilarious! Raheem Sterling does not know when his daughter's birthday is

When Raheem Sterling took to social media to wish his daughter a happy first birthday, little did he know his sweet gesture would make him the latest footballer to land in a Twitter controversy.

But the Liverpool winger’s message plunged him in hot water because he posted it a week early.

The 18-year-old England winger took to Twitter yesterday to send birthday greetings to Melody Rose.

However Melody’s mum, Melissa Clarke, quickly shot back informing Sterling he had got her birthday wrong.

Earlier this year Sterling publicly denied rumours that he had fathered multiple children, clarifying that Melody was his only child.

Sterling said: "Some of the stuff you see is unbelievable. I've read stuff that I've got five kids and another on the way. It's just crazy and it’s completely wrong."

But with only one birthday to remember, it makes his Twitter gaffe all the more calamitous.
