ESPY AWARDS!... Lebron James,Thierry Henry, Serena Williams, Djokovic all honored

The ESPY Award (short for Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly Award) is an accolade presented by ESPN to recognize individual and team athletic achievement and other sports-related performance during the calendar year.






As Grammy is for music, Emmy for television and Academy Award for film, so is ESPY for sport. 

For the 2013 edition of the awards, all roads led to the Nokia centre in Los Angeles yesterday night. The night had the most important men and women in American sports all under 1 roof, Los Angeles also witnessed American Hip Hop stars who added glitz and glamour to the show.



As expected Lebron James was the star of the night as he bagged two individual awards and two team awards. Other prominent winners include Serena Williams, Thierry Henry, Tiger Woods,  Novak Djokovic, Micheal Phelps, Usain Bolt.
