Forbes magazine pronounced Real Madrid as the most valuable sporting club yesterday, knocking previous chart-toppers Man Utd off their perch, with Barcelona in third and Arsenal, the only other football team in the top 10, in 10th spot.
However, the magazine also published a questionable info-graphic. Based on the number of global followers each club (of any sport) has on Facebook and Twitter, Forbes found that La Liga giants Barcelona top this ranking courtesy of over 60 million followers, with Real Madrid in second place and Man Utd third. Arsenal a distant 15th place.

Barcelona with about 43.5m likes on facebook |
|
43.5m + 9.5m = 53m followers |
But how Barcelona got 60.6 million followers, we at Sportunes cannot fathom. Where did Forbes get 7.6 million fans from? Hi5?
|
Arsenal with 14.3m followers on fb |
|
14.3m + 2.5m = 16.8m followers |
The most shocking on the List was how they came about 4.2 million Arsenal fans. Obama should applaud forbes for eradicating 12.6 million gunners from this world.
|
Man United with 34.3m fans on fb |
|
34.3m + 460k = 34.7m followers |
However the American business company were not way off the mark with Manchester United as they only missed out on about 200,000 devils.
For Long the people in forbes have been feeding us with questionable lists, we at Sportunes are standing up to say Enough is Enough!.lol
