Juventus Fc have put hit man Quagliarella on the FOR SALE list due to the signing of striker Carlos Tevez from Man City, so Quag's presence in the squad makes the striking department overcrowded. The accounts department of the club will also recognise the fact that the presence of 5 world class strikers will definitely not make the sheets balanced. With the Italian striker also somewhere at the bottom of the pecking order, Everton and Norwich city are planning on capitalizing on his predicaments as its been reported that both English clubs are intending on bidding in excess of £10m for the man that has has over 100 career goals to his name. This week could tell if he would favor a transfer to the EPL.
GARETH BALE
The transfer battle between Spurs and Real Madrid seems to be out again after Luka Modric's own went by last season... Madrid are willing to BREAK THE BANK for Bale this summer with both wages and transfer fee to cost a total sum of £95m (€105m). Would Spurs sell their most valuable Jewel even with reports we getting that he did a "Goodbye Signing Session" with team mates in Monaco on saturday night? We would know this week.
SALOMON KALOU
English Premier League clubs West ham United and West Bromich Albion are in chase for Birthday boy Salomon Kalou. The Hammers and Baggies are expected to meet the former Chelsea man's buy out clause of £3m this week. With what we know about buy out clauses,a £3m+ £1 could bring Kalou back "home".
ARSENAL
The north London club are at it again! We at Sportunes hear that this week, two flops would be leaving the Emirates stadium in Gervinho and Maroune Chamakh. Although in the case of Chamakh its a proposed six month loan deal with newly promoted London club Crystal palace which should be confirmed this week; its quite different in the case of Ivorian forward Gervinho, he links up with his former boss Rudi Garcia at AS Roma for a fee reported to worth £7m with Wenger confirming over the weekend that the Gunners are close to an agreement with a club for the Ivorian and reports also stating that Gervinho got to Rome last night.
Still with the gunners,we hear that this week Arsenal target Luiz Suarez would be taking his club Liverpool to CAS(Court of Abitriation for Sports) over alleged misinterpretation of contract. Under the terms of the Uruguayan’s current deal, the Anfield outfit are obliged to inform the player of any bids for his services that surpassed £40million. Arsenal last week deliberately triggered the clause with a sarcastic offer of £40,000,001 in the hope the perceived confusion surrounding the agreement meant Liverpool would be forced to sell Suarez but the Merseyside club are reluctant to sell and only seriously contemplating any bids above £50m.... Suarez wants to go AWOL!!! Would the "Fairy-god mother" CAS grant his wish?
BERNARD
Reports reaching us from Brazil suggest that samba wonder kid Bernard has not been bidded for by Arsenal or even Portugese giants Fc Porto but a fee of £22m would bring the Copa Libertodores champion to Europe, as stated by Athletico Miniero's President. With Shakthar Donestk of Ukraine bidding a reported sum of £21.8m, Who gets the diminutive Brazilian then?
NEWCASTLE UNITED
The Magpies are expected to add another striker to their ranks this week. An Estimated amount of £1.8m is expected to bring Loic Remy on loan from championship club QPR... Hmmn, the Continuation of French Colony in Newcastle.
DAVID LUIZ
After Winning the Confederation's Cup with Brazil ,Chelsea defender David Luiz has become a 'Hot Cake' as both Barcelona and Bayern Munich enter a bidding War for the 26 year old. Over the weekend,it was reported by The Mail UK,that German giants Bayern have put in a bid of £34.5m for Luiz. We all know Pep and Mouhrinho are not on favorable terms; which makes us to wonder if this transfer battle is going to spark World War III.
WAYNE ROONEY
No week goes by without a transfer link on English forward Wayne Rooney. Man. Utd have said they are desperate to hold on to a stalwart in Rooney, but the former Evertonian wants to break up with the Red Devils... Although Rooney is said to have recovered from injury and even went ahead to play a behind closed door match last week, Chelsea are not giving up on him. They are still in hunt for a big name signing this summer; but would £40m be enough for the Man. Utd legend?
