Bundesliga's Good,Best and Trouncing Moments.

Schalke 04 0 4 Bayern Munich

This weekend saw Bundesliga Giant Bayern Munich go head to head with leaders Borussia Dortmund on points following a 4-0 spanking of Schalke on their own terrace.

Before this game ,Schalke had not conceded in three games going, but Bayern and German Midfield marshall Bastian Schweinsteiger started the lashing seconded by Croatian Mario Mandzukic putting Bayern two goals after after 22 minutes before French Sensation Franck Ribery, League Veteran Claudio Pizarro added further strikes in the second half to extend their unbeaten run in the Bundesliga to 31.

Bayern Home Boy Toni Kroos also reached the 150th Bundesliga appearance mark.

Nurenberg 1 1 Dortmund

A Per Nilsson's equaliser ended Borussia Dortmund’s fairy tale winning start to the Bundesliga season as Nuremberg held them to a 1-1 draw.

The League Leaders started out blazing with Marcel Schmelzer putting the league leaders ahead with a stunning free-kick shortly before the break at the Grundig-Stadion ,but Nilsson popped up to lash home an equaliser for the struggling German side just after half-time.

Nurenberg came into this game without a win this season, but still fancied that they could still go against all odds and get something out of the game despite Dortmund's early season dominance in games.

With Robert Lewandowski, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Nuri Sahin all being rested possibly due to a drenching  mid-week Champions League loss to SS Napoli, Hence the roaring Jurgen Klopp decided to bring in fresh legs into the starting XI, but it did backfire, as Nurenberg capitalised on a weakened Dortmund team with a resilient performance of their own.

Mainz 1 4 Bayer Leverkusen

Bayer Leverkusen 04 poured out their mid-week frustrations from the Theatre of dreams on Mainz as they cruised to a 4 - 1 victory. Robbie Kruse claimed a double with Lars Bender and last season's Bundesliga top-scorer Stefan Kiessling completing the rout, condemning Mainz to a third straight defeat after they had won their opening three games of the season.

In other games, Hamburg SV's woes continued as Werder Bremen did take advantage of the Manager-less outfit winning two nil;with the goals coming from the hot boots of former Bayern Munich forward Niel Peterson, becoming the huntsman at hosts Hamburg's Imtech Arena.
