Edgar Davids missed Barnet clash to visit Playboy mansion

Gone are those days when Edgar Davids used to make the headlines following some blockbuster performances on the field, now the current Barnett player coach is just on every reporter's hands and lips for some very awkward reasons. A couple of months ago, he announced that he will be donning the No 1 jersey when the new season begins (HERE), with the merrying far from over, the Dailymail are reporting that the 40 year old missed the club’s Conference game away against Gateshead last month because he was in Los Angeles visiting the Playboy Mansion.

Edgar Davids joined the Bees last season in a player-co-manager capacity alongside Mark Robson, but soon became the sole manager following Robson’s departure.

It’s believed that the former Spurs midfielder is not collecting a wage from Barnet this season as he failed to maintain their Football League status.
