Peruvian Keeper Given Three-Year Prison Sentence For Biting Man’s Ear Off

Union Comercio’s veteran goalkeeper, Juan “Chiquito” Flores, wont just stop grabbing the headlines for all the wrong reasons. Just last month, the Peruvian goalie committed one of the worst blunders of all time - where he appeared to be wasting time 5 mins!! into a league match, just for an opposing striker to nick the ball off him, hence tapping into an empty net.

The 37 year old took his misdemeanor to a whole different level when he bit a man’s ear off in a nightclub in Huanaco, However he's been dealt with a three-year suspended prison sentence yesterday, after being found guilty of the malicious act. He was also ordered to pay approx £2,300 in damages to the victim and undergo some form of community service programme.

This veteran goalie can be categorically classed as a nuissance on and off the pitch and has no place in our beautiful game. I just hope he becomes unemployable and hangs his boot after serving his jail term.
