Portsmouth to pay Kanu Nwankwo 40 million Naira

Portsmouth's new owners have been left with a £6.72million bill to pay off 25 players - all of whom no longer play for the club and Nigerian legend Kanu Nwankwo is part of the ex Pompeys to be settled.

Papillo who spent six(6) seasons at the club, scoring 28 goals parted ways with the English team last year, after they refused to pay his wages.

Other players to be settled include Tal Ben Haim, now a Standard Liege defender, who is owed a massive £1.6m, Birmingham’s Hayden Mullins must be paid £632,000, striker Benjani will get £214,000 while Aaron Mokoena is due a whopping £288,000.
