After all, how long does anyone spend gazing on the ball from the comfort of their home,Viewing Centres or even at a the local pub or Joint.
Broadcasters even up till now of this report; are yet to offer such a dedicated camera angle to this effect.
But anyone who follows either West Brom's official Instagram account or defender Gareth McAuley's Twitter page would have quickly realised that something rather unusual had occurred.
As the Westbrom Midfielder McAuley excitedly tweeted yesterday stating;"Today's match ball!!!! Did anyone notice?"
Although, there have been suggestions on fan forums as well as club fansites that the message is believed to have been written by the man who calls himself on Twitter "Kitman for the finest football club in the world... West Bromwich Albion", Pat Frost.
This Rumours quickly mounted that the message "We know what we are" amounted to a jibe against either the Baggies' opponents Arsenal, or indeed Midlands rivals Aston Villa.
However, there is no proof to either suggestion, so the message remains entirely ambiguous.
Indeed, @KitmanPat himself informed a seemingly offended Aston Villa fan on Twitter that there was no mention of the rival club.
