Ludogorets coach says he may play defender Cosmin Moti in goal again v Liverpool

Bulgarian minnows make their Champions League bow against Liverpool today, a competition they qualified for in dramatic circumstances, with defender Cosmin Moti filling in as a goalkeeper.

Moti saved two penalties and scored one in their shootout against Steaua Bucharest HERE , and his heroics are set to be enshrined by naming a new stand after him.

And with a goalkeeper crisis – their first two choices are unavailable for the match at Anfield – manager Georgi Dermendzhiev said in his press conference that they may need recourse for Moti again.

They have signed Canadian Milan Borjan, but as he was so long without a club, they’re genuinely considering playing their defender between the sticks again.
