Blessing Okagbare through to the 100m finals, Gloria Asunmu bows out

Blessing Okagbare is through to the women 100m finals. The 24 year old came first in a photo finish with a time of 11.08s. After breaking Nigerian's 14 years medal-less spell with a silver medal in the high jump, can the Delta state born athlete go a step further by winning Nigeria's first ever gold medal in the Championship's history?





Gloria Asunmu was no where near Okagbare's horizon as she crashed out of the women's 100m race. The 28 year old bowed out of the championship's with a 7th place finish in 11.44s
