TRANSFER BATTLE:(Preview of this week's major deals); Maroune Chamakh, Luiz Gustavo, Scott Sinclair, Fabio Coentrao, Luis Suarez, Fabio Quagliarela, Sammuel Eto'o

Its SHOPPING TIME!!! With the two biggest and most followed leagues in the world starting this weekend, the chase for players to boost their squads must go on!!!!

MAROUNE CHAMAKH

Marouane Chamakh

Former Bordeaux and Moroccan forward Maroune Chamakh would wave good bye to the Emirates this week as the red and white army decided to end the contract of its fallen soldier. Chamakh is expected to sign a one year deal with newly promoted Premier league club Crystal Palace. What a way to go for Africa's "C.Ronaldo"

Luiz Gustavo - Italy v Brazil: Group A - FIFA Confederations Cup Brazil 2013

Still With the Gunners; our Sources from Sky Sports Uk have made us know that "The Unserious One" Arsene Wenger is expected to Smash the club's transfer record by signing Brazilian midfield enforcer Luiz Gustavo for a reported sum of £18m. The Bavarians are to receive £14m upfront from Arsenal, with the remaining reported £4m to be paid in add on's for the player. Is Arsenal trying to samba the north London rivalry with Paulinho already with Spurs?

SCOTT SINCLAIR

Scott Sinclair - AmaZulu v Manchester City

Manchester City Winger Scott Sinclair is a "wanted man" by the baggies. Since leaving Swansea City for Man City, its been a bit part game play for the English forward and after being left out in the blue half of Manchester's last game of the pre-season against Arsenal, Sinclair has been on the transfer target list of West Brom. Would his wish to play first team football again be granted?

FABIO COENTRAO

Fabio Coentrao - Bournemouth v Real Madrid

The Madrid Left back Fabio Coentrao is wanted by Tottenham Hotspurs manager Villas Boas. This news is an opportunity for the Madrid club and north London club hierarchy to meet on the round table and have some serious Coentrao + £105 million - X for Bale discussion. At the end of the meeting both parties should be able to derive a value for X.

FABIO QUAGLIARELLA

Fabio Quagliarella - Atalanta BC v Juventus

Reports from Daily Mail suggest that Sunderland AFC are interested in a season long loan for Juventus striker Fabio Quagliarella. As we analysed last week, the Italian has become a surplus to requirement player with the Biacconeri (HERE), so the Italian team will do anything within their powers to offload the 30 year old. Information reaching us at Sportunes says Norwich are also interested in the striker after new signing Gary Hooper got injured last weekend. More to come on this deal this week.

LUIS SUAREZ

Luis Suarez

Luis Suarez is to continue his bad boy antics this week. The "sweet tune" of Champions League football brought to him by Arsene Wenger at the Emirates has resulted in the Liverpool forward tendering a transfer request. Its reported that Liverpool manager Brendan Rogers has told the Uruguayan to apologise to his fellow team mates if he wants to get back to first team training, but Mr. Suarez has blatantly refused to do so.

With Arsenal expected to make a last effort in signing the 26 year old with a third bid worth about £50m, Will Liverpool yield to temptation and sell their most priced asset?... This week will tell

"BEST OF THE REST":

ETO'O TO NEWCASTLE???

Samuel Eto'o

After being transfer listed by Anzhi owner due to excess pay in wages and poor results, Cameroon and African legend Samuel Eto'o Fils is being targeted by premier league outfit Newcastle United. As at  now, details of this deal hasn't being revealed, but we hear that Newcastle are looking at a way of luring the former Barcelona and Inter Milan player to England with a well structured pay package which would soothe the player, his agent and the club. Although we hear SSC Napoli are also interested, Eto'o won't rule out playing EPL football as he gets closer to his retiring years. With French being the 32 year old's Lingua Franca he wont have problem settling with the Magpies as they have a sizable number of French players in their squad.
