Alan Shearer is 43 today. He is an English retired footballer. He played as a striker in the top level of English league football for Southampton, Blackburn Rovers, Newcastle United. The former England striker is highly regarded as the greatest striker to ever grace the English Premier League as a whole lot of his records still stands till date, most significant one is him being the Highest goal scorer in the history of the EPL with 260 goals.
Niko Kranjčar
Niko Kranjčar is 29 today. He is a Croatian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Dynamo Kyiv and the Croatia national team. Hailed as the next Robert Prosinečki, Kranjčar was given his international debut by his father Zlatkoin in August 2004. Since then, Kranjčar has represented his country at the 2006 FIFA World Cup, UEFA Euro 2008 and UEFA Euro 2012. So far he has won 79 caps for the Croatia national team, scoring 15 goals in the process.
But he will famously be remembered for sparking controversy between two of the biggest clubs in his homeland - After playing for Dinamo Zagreb he made a move to their fierce rivals Hajduk Split in 2005. He also went on to play for Portsmouth and Tottenham Hotspur.
